Cape Cod Potato Chips opened their doors for tours in 1985, where they have become the area’s largest tourist attraction, hosting 250,000 visitors annually! By hand selecting potatoes and cooking them in custom kettles one batch at a time, they’ve created a distinctive crunch and unique flavor. From the farmer’s field to your table, see how the legendary chips are made!

Hours: 10am-5pm, Last Entry at 4pm
Commanded by pirate Sam Bellamy, the Whydah wrecked off the shore of Wellfleet in 1717, taking with her the treasure of 50 plundered ships! Get a look into the lives of the pirates and the treasures that have been found of the on-going archaeological mission. The Whydah Museum is fun for the whole family and takes about an hour or more to explore.

Hours: Tue-Sat 10am-4pm, Sun 12-4pm
Explore the exhibits of work of John Stobart, a replica boat shop honoring Pete Culler’s contribution to maritime history, interactive knot tying, lightships, and an exhibit on wooden boat models. Also explore the working boat shop and preservation boat shed, or sign up online for the next boat building class!

A 30,000 square foot indoor/outdoor Water Park, featuring water slides, “stormy” river, kiddie area, wave pool, and more! It’s the only one of its kind on Cape Cod and is a great way to get the kids out on a rainy day.

Take an adult rainy day and tour the Cape Cod Beer Brewery. Tours Monday-Saturday at 11:00AM, but tastings and self-guided tours are available day long. Tastings only cost $6 and you get to take a souvenir logo tasting glass home!

Founded by artists in 1981, CCMOA is the Home of Cape Cod Art. The Museum preserves the work of the Cape’s finest artists and celebrates the distinctive artistic identity of the Cape, the Islands and the region.

Hours: Wed-Sat 11am-4pm, Sun 12-4pm
Author and Artist Edward Gorey’s Cape house turned museum is dedicated to his life, work and his devotion to animal welfare. Master of a humorous look at the macabre, you’ll find the house stuffed with references to his illustrated books and other memorabilia from Dracula and Mystery! to Gashlycrumb Tinies and A Dull Afternoon. 2018’s special exhibit is “Murder He Wrote”.
